Who We Are

The Washington State Public Facilities District (PFD) is a government agency dedicated to developing, managing, and operating public facilities that enhance the cultural, recreational, and economic vitality of our communities. Established under state law, the PFD is responsible for the creation and maintenance of multi-purpose venues, including sports arenas, convention centers, and other public spaces that serve the diverse needs of Washington State residents and visitors.

What We Do

The PFD is involved in the planning, financing, construction, and operation of public facilities throughout Washington State

Community Engagement

We believe in the power of collaboration and actively seek input from residents, businesses, and stakeholders in the communities we serve. Through public meetings, forums, and surveys, we ensure that our projects align with the needs and desires of the people who will use and benefit from them.

Washington State PFD Mission

Our mission is to create and sustain public facilities that enrich the lives of our citizens, promote tourism, and support local economies. We strive to ensure that every project we undertake reflects the unique character and needs of the communities we serve, providing spaces that are accessible, sustainable, and beneficial for all.
